A letter from Alix.
I can’t speak German, but I’m hoping someone else does! All I can read is “Papa” at the top. I’m thinking this was probably to her father. Unless she called someone else Papa.

It says:

My dearest, best father,
these lines shall (actually the sentence is not complete, the verb is missing) you my most affectionate and heartfelt congratulations for your (…)
I remain with a thousand kisses, your ever faithful, loving daughter, Alicky

I’m starting to think that this letter was cut off, if the verb was missing. Alix, who was raised with the German language from birth, would most definitely not forget to add in the verb. Has anyone found this letter in say, Lifelong Passion? I’m not with my books at the moment, would someone else check? Thank you!
